National Geographic post.

The thing that I like about this photo is the way the ice makes the tunnel and has kind of transparent look to it that gives it range of color going from light blue to dark blue. Then there is a view of the snowy cliff and ocean that i sat the end of this ice tunnel that makes it look amazingly good. This kind of reminds me of Russia where I've lived for my first 12 years.

  2. I like that this picture focuses on the distant range through a tunnel-like piece of ice. It is almost like you're looking through a microscope. Also you can really see the depth to the water and dimension to the mountains.

  4. I like how the ice makes you think that the camera is focused in the background. It also draws your eyes to the mountains.

  6. I really like the Russians picture. I like how the iceberg serves as a visual tunnel to dial your eyes focusing on the what the iceberg is aiming at. :D It looks like, in a fantasy sort of way that the photographer is a snowman and he is using an ice camera, and the ice camera is on a dialed in setting :D

  7. I love how you can see the texture of the ice clearly even though it's not the focus of the picture. And the clarity of the snowy cliff looks awesome too.

  8. I enjoy how you get forced to look at the mountains by the ice. This picture would also look really good in black and white.

  9. I love how it looks like you are standing inside a block of ice, looking out of a little port-hole and a beautiful mountain. I also love how you can see the texture the ice closest to the camera.
